Dylan & Elliot | Married!

If you are on the fence about not doing the traditional white wedding with pastel colors, and wanting to do something bold or moody, this is the perfect wedding to convince you to do it! Dylan and Elliot’s wedding was at the Alyeska Resort in Girdwood, Alaska in March and everything about it was what wedding planner dreams are made of! Let’s talk about some of the things I loved about this wedding:

THE BRIDE’S BLACK WEDDING DRESS

Let’s start with Dylan’s black wedding dress! TO…DIE…FOR! Yes, I think you all can agree that Dylan was stunning in her black wedding dress! Then top it off with her pink hair, yes, please! And I cannot, not mention those sculpted arms of hers! Want these arms? Then you better sign up for Muay Thai!

THE BRIDE’S SECOND OUTFIT

As if the black wedding dress wasn’t stunning enough, during the reception Dylan changed into a cute, white crop top and pants! #bridegoals

THE DECOR

The dark, moody tones of this wedding were one for the books. Black was the primary color with accents of jewel tones that we used in the florals, water glasses, and napkins. And gold in the charger plates, candleholders, and flatware brought it all together.

THE TATTOO STATION

This tattoo station was a big hit and if you are looking for something new, fun, and interactive for your guests to do, this would be it! I’ve never seen so many people walking around with neck and face tattoos! It was like they were channeling their inner rebel!

DINNER

And last but not least who doesn’t love a good burger for dinner??!! Yes, no fancy buffet, just a good ole’ burger bar!
